Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, and Lautaro Martinez are all set to start for Inter in the club’s friendly against Parma this Sunday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the trio will be ready for action in the pre-season encounter after having returned to training earlier this week.

Bastoni, Barella, and Martinez were the final arrivals in pre-season training, with all three having been granted extended vacations after going late into international duty, winning the Euros with Italy and the Copa America with Argentina, respectively.

However, all three were back with the squad this Monday, and they have been working hard to not just get back to full physical fitness for the season, but also get up to speed with the ideas and approach of new head coach Simone Inzaghi.

All three are expected to be ready to get their first taste of action on the pitch on Sunday, with the friendly against Parma a test for how well they will have integrated into Inzaghi’s project very early on.
