Roberto Gagliardini and Valentino Lazaro are set to miss Inter’s pre-season friendly against Parma this Sunday, with Alexis Sanchez also ruled out of the match as he pursues a personalized recovery program.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who also report that defender Danilo D’Ambrosio will be available for the match after recovering from his injury.

In Sanchez’s case, it is thought that with the Chilean still not fully fit after struggling with an ongoing injury problem which had also ruled him out of much of the Copa America with Chile, he is being kept on a personalized training program to help him fully recover from the knock.

The Nerazzurri hope to have the Chilean back to full fitness in time for the Serie A opener against Genoa, with Lautaro Martinez set to miss the clash through suspension.

Meanwhile, Gagliardini is still recovering from a knee strain expected to rule him our for a few more weeks, while Lazaro’s injury struggles are ongoing since the Euros.
