Chelsea are offering Inter €120 million in cash in addition to one of Emerson Palmieri or Davide Zappacosta for Romelu Lukaku.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri are only interested in cash in exchange for the Belgian striker.

Negotiations are ongoing between Chelsea and Inter over the Belgian, with the Blues’ latest offer thought to be to include one of Emerson or Zappacosta in addition to a large cash fee, after the Nerazzurri had turned down a previous offer which included Marcos Alonso.

The English side are pushing to get the deal done quickly, and hoping that they can soon make an offer which the Nerazzurri will be satisfied with, though it remains to be seen how they would ultimately meet the asking price.

The player is ready to make the switch and has an agreement in place to join the Blues, and it is now all up the European champions to make an offer which the Nerazzurri will accept, and Inter owners Suning to give the green light to the sale.
