Inter could offer defender Danilo D’Ambrosio to Roma in exchange for Alessandro Florenzi.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, who report that the Nerazzurri have retained their interest in the Giallorrossi wing-back, and are considering a swap deal for D’Ambrosio.

Florenzi returns to Roma from a season and a half on loan with Valencia and then Paris Saint-Germain, but it is thought that the club are trying to find a new club for the 30-year-old.

Sevilla were thought to have been interested in bringing Florenzi, but their interest appears to have cold, and now the Giallorossi are looking for another destination, with Inter considering moving back in for him.

Florenzi is a versatile right-sided option who could help fill in on that flank after the departure of Achraf Hakimi last month, and the Nerazzurri may hope that his current club would accept D’Ambrosio in return for him.
