Inter have contacted Sassuolo over the possibility to loan young Italian striker Gianluca Scammaca in exchange for the loan of young French midfielder Lucien Agoume.

This according to Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio who reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri have contacted their Sassuolo counterparts to discuss the matter.

According to the report, the Scamacca signing is not seen as an alternative to Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata who Inter are very interested in, but instead the Nerazzurri are interested in acquiring both.

The duo would be brought in to replace Chelsea linked Romelu Lukaku as well as Andrea Pinamonti who is reportedly close to a loan move to newly promoted Serie A side Empoli.

In return, Sassuolo would receive Lucien Agoume on loan with an option to buy, the same formula Inter wish to use to acquire Gianluca Scamacca who spent last season out on loan with Genoa.
