Inter will look to sign two strikers in the event that Romelu Lukaku is sold, with Roma’s Edin Dzeko, Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata, Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca, and Lazio’s Joaquin Correa top names on their list.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that Nerazzurri President Steven Zhang has given assurances to Beppe Marotta that two attacking options will be budgeted for in order to replace the 28-year-old.

With Lukaku looking close to the exit door, the Nerazzurri are frantically preparing their strategy for the rest of the market, and replacing the Belgian is a key item on their agenda.

The profile sought by the club is a physically powerful striker who can fill a similar role to Lukaku, with  Zapata and Scamacca two targets, and both could arrive together.

However, Dzeko is another player who has long been a target of the Nerazzurri, and the Bosnian could be brought in instead of one of the two, as a reliable option for the short-term.

Meanwhile, Correa is another striker on the Nerazzurri’s radar, with the Argentine having worked well with head coach Simone Inzaghi for several seasons while the pair were at Lazio together.

Although the Biancocelesti are reported to be asking €40 million for the 26-year-old.
