Serie B side Reggina are interested in young Inter striker Eddie Salcedo for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Calabrian club are prepared to make a move for the young Italian as they look to bolster their attacking options.

Salcedo returned to the Nerazzurri this summer after a loan spell with Hellas Verona, where he showed promising signs of suitability for top flight football.

However, his future has remained unclear, with the club considering keeping him in the squad as a rotation option or being sent out on loan to further his development.

The 19-year-old could drop down a division to Serie B with the Calabrians keen on his signature, but it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri would be ready to deal with the second division side, and whether the player would accept an offer from them.
