Young Inter midfielder Riccardo Boscolo Chio is set to join Serie C side Imolese on loan imminently.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Emilia-Romagna club are close to secruing a deal for the 19-year-old for next season.
Chio was at the Nerazzurri headquarters today where he signed his contract with the Serie C side and now his move to the club looks all but complete.
Chio spent last season with the Primavera side playing under head coach Armando Madonna, and the club have decided on a loan move as the next step for the player, with the priority to find him playing time in which to develop within the senior game.
A number of club’s within Italy’s lower divisions showed interest in the midfielder, but it is Imolese who have completed a deal to take him to Serie C, where he will hope to make an impression next season.
