Inter are making progress in their attempts to sign PSV Eindhoven wing-back Denzel Dumfries and are ready to submit a €15 million bid for him.

According to FCInterNews.it, the Nerazzurri are optimistic that they can land the Netherlands international and believe that €15m should be sufficient, with an official offer set to be made this weekend.

Dumfries has made his intentions to leave clear to PSV coach Roger Schmidt and he was left out of today’s 4-0 thrashing of Ajax in the Dutch Super Cup, prompting suggestions that he is close to leaving.

The 25-year-old is believed to be waiting to understand which clubs are ready to move for him and to weigh up his options, but Inter are ready to press ahead with an offer as they seek a replacement for Achraf Hakimi.

Dumfries joined PSV from Heerenveen in 2018 and has scored 16 goals in 124 appearances, whilst he was named captain of the club last season.
