Inter intend to hold on to striker Lautaro Martinez, despite receiving substantial offers from Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Argentina international has been the subject of bids worth €70 million from the three clubs, but this is some €20m short of Inter’s valuation of him.

After agreeing a deal to sell fellow striker Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea, the Nerazzurri are reluctant to lose another key attacker and it is their intention to retain Martinez, with just two weeks to go until the start of the new Serie A season.

The 23-year-old is yet to sign a new contract at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after lengthy negotiations, but despite this, Inter have no desire to cash in on him.

Martinez joined Inter from Racing Club in 2018 and has scored 49 goals in 132 appearances, winning the Scudetto with the Nerazzurri last season.
