Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will turn to Lautaro Martinez and Martin Satriano to lead the line in attack for today’s preseason friendly against Parma.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, the former Lazio coach has limited options up front, with Romelu Lukaku on the verge of completing a move to Chelsea.

Inzaghi is thought to be upset by the decision to cash in on the Belgian international but is maintaining a united front, with the newspaper suggesting that some at the club had tried to convince Lukaku to remain rather than leave so close to the new season, starting in two weeks.

With his transfer to Stamford Bridge close to being finalised, Lukaku withdrew from training yesterday and asked not to be included in the friendly against the Serie B outfit at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

In addition to Martinez and Satriano, Inzaghi will be able to call up Italian pair Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolo Barella following their involvement at Euro 2020.
