Inter are looking to bring in two new strikers to replace Chelsea-bound Romelu Lukaku, with the first likely to be Roma’s Edin Dzeko.

According to Italian television broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, and as reported by FCInter1908.it, the Nerazzurri are closing in on a deal for 35-year-old Dzeko and hope to conclude this shortly.

The Bosnia international has been offered a two-year contract by Inter and is waiting on permission from Roma to leave, although this is not thought to be an issue as the Giallorossi have an agreement to allow him to depart.

Once Dzeko’s move has been finalised, the Nerazzurri will turn attention to a second name to complement their attack, with Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata and Lazio’s Joaquin Correa amongst the options.

Inter are keen to bring in Colombia international Zapata, but must negotiate down La Dea’s €40 million asking price, whilst new coach Simone Inzaghi worked with Correa at Lazio over the past three seasons.

Meanwhile, they may also consider Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca as well, although this is likely to only be a loan.
