The agent of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has insisted that his client is happy at the Nerazzurri, amidst reported interest from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

In an interview with FCInter1908.it, agent Alejandro Camano shot down speculation that the Argentina international could depart for Spurs and stressed that Martinez was satisfied with life at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

“Tottenham’s offer? Lautaro is an Inter player and he is happy in Italy,” Camano insisted, despite suggestions that the former Racing Club player could follow fellow striker Romelu Lukaku in moving to the Premier League, ahead of his switch to Chelsea.

Martinez currently has two years remaining on the contract he signed upon joining from Racing in 2018, and despite lengthy discussions is yet to pen an extension.

Camano was keen to stress that the 23-year-old did not want to cause problems with Inter over a new deal and was not looking to enter a dispute with the club.

“The renewal? Lautaro is with Inter and he will never enter into conflict with the club. It will never happen, this is reality,” he added.

Martinez scored 19 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions last season as Inter secured a first Scudetto since 2010,
