Lazio are bracing themselves for an approach for Joaquin Correa from Inter by moving for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic.

As reported in yesterday’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is keen to reunite with Correa after departing Lazio to take over at the Nerazzurri this summer.

Lazio are anticipating interest in Correa by moving for Serbia international Kostic and after tracking him for over a month, are now preparing to make an offer for him.

This would allow them to sell Correa and bring in the funds to complete a deal for Kostic, potentially opening the door for Inter to swoop for the former.

Argentina international Correa joined Lazio from Sevilla in 2018 and has scored 30 goals in 117 appearances across all competitions, helping the Aquile to the Coppa Italia in 2019.

The 26-year-old was part of the Argentina squad that lifted the Copa America in Brazil this summer.
