Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic took to Social Media to post a touching message to teammate Christian Eriksen, following the Dane’s return to the club.
Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest whilst on international duty with Denmark at Euro 2020 this summer, but has begun his recovery and was able to meet up with his Inter teammates this week.
Handanovic took to Instagram to post a photo of himself embracing Eriksen as the Dane arrived at the Appiano Gentile training ground, with the caption: “So great to be able to hug you and see you again like this. Welcome back Chris!”
