Italian agent Crscenzo Cecere has given updates about the future of Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb.com, the agent explained that the young French midfielder’s immediate future will be decided next week when he meets with the club.

Agoume is thought to be a player who the Nerazzurri seriously value as a prospect for the future and have even considered keeping in the squad for next season, but for now it is not clear where he will play his football next season.

A number of clubs have expressed interest in the 19-year-old, and the priority for both the club and player will be to see him in an environment where he plays football regularly and can improve and gain experience.

More should be revealed in the upcoming days when the player and his entourage meet with the Nerazzurri to settle where he will play next season.

As an intermediary, Cecere explained, “For Agoume, together with his agent, we are trying to understand Inter’s position. Next week we will sit at the table and figure out what to do.”

About the soon-to-depart Inter striker Romelu Lukaku, Cecere stated that “He gave everything the Inter, but Chelsea’s offer is indispensable.”

Regarding the ideal replacement for the Belgian, the agent opined “I would preferably bet on Vlahovic, he is a great prospect, and he and Lautaro would make a great pair.”
