Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni remains committed to the Nerazzurri and wants to fight for titles at the club.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia after the 2-0 friendly win against Parma, via FCInterNews, the 22-year-old opened up about his feelings playing for Inter, and made clear that there is no lack of morale for him or his teammates.

Bastoni played alongside his defensive partners from last season, Dutchman Stefan de Vrij and Slovenian Milan Skriniar, during the match, and the trio kept a clean sheet in their penultimate preparatory test for the upcoming season.

Despite the anticipated loss of Romelu Lukaku who looks set for a switch to Chelsea, the Nerazzurri remains strong in quality, and as Bastoni expresses, also in mentality.

Asked to speak about his ambitions and expectations for the upcoming season to the fans, the Italian defender gave a clear indication of his thoughts and motivations with his response.

“The message I can give to the fans is that those who remain will give everything for this shirt,” said the defender, “as we have shown in recent years.”

On the Scudetto shield being worn on the chest of Inter’s shirts this season, he stated, “It’s a reason for pride, it is an honour for me to be here.”
