Inter are targeting both Roma’s Edin Dzeko and Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata as they look to make multiple centre-forwards available to manager Simone Inzaghi.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that Zapata is next on the Nerazzurri’s list once they complete the signing of Dzeko from the Giallorossi.

Inter are planning for life after Romelu Lukaku with the Belgian believed to be close to departing, and with Dzeko already close to signing the club have identified a second striker who can play alongside the Bosnian to strengthen the options already in the squad.

To this end, Zapata is top of the Nerazzurri’s list, with the Colombian viewed as the right option to play as one of two strikers in Inzaghi’s preferred tactical setup.

It remains to be seen if the club will be able to complete a deal for Zapata while also working on other transfer business, but he remains a major target.
