Inter and Cagliari are still working on a deal to send midfielder Radja Nainggolan to the Rossoblu next season.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfred Pedulla, who reported in a tweet that the two clubs will have yet another meeting where they will hope to rectify the situation and work out a deal for the player once and for all.

Nainggolan still hopes for a move to Sardinia, where he spent the second half of last season on loan, and despite links to Benfica recently the Rossoblu are his first choice.

Accordingly, the clubs will hold one more meeting in the hopes that they can finally bring an end to the situation and grant the 33-year-old his wish.

Meanwhile, Pedulla also notes that Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez is still hoping for an Inter move, which could yet be linked to the talks over Nainggolan between the two clubs.

Pedulla’s tweet reads: “#Nainggolan, final meeting. He only wants #Cagliari, they work for the solution. And #Nandez keeps waiting for Inter.”
