Inter look set to focus on bringing in Lazio’s Joaquin Correa alongside Edin Dzeko for next season, with Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata and Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic out of their price range.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that with the club already committed to bringing in Dzeko and a right-sided player, their budget for another striker in addition to Dzeko will be restricted.

With Romelu Lukaku looking close to the exit door, the Nerazzurri have accelerated their search for a striker or strikers to shore up the attack, with Zapata and Vlahovic thought to be two key names on their list.

However, the club have already identified Dzeko as a major target and so will look for a player who can play alongside the Bosnian and existing striker Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez in the attacking rotation.

Additionally, part of the budget to be reinvested from the sales of Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi is set to be committed to finding a replacement for Hakimi, with the Moroccan yet to have been replaced in the squad.

Accordingly, it looks as though the club will cool their interest in Zapata and Vlahovic, and that Correa is the player likeliest to be brought in.
