Lazio striker Ciro Immobile is on Inter’s list of possible targets to replace Lautaro Martinez should the Argentine depart this summer.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that head coach Simone Inzaghi would sign off on a reunion with the 31-year-old should he be brought in.

Martinez could still depart from the Giuseppe Meazza this summer amid serious interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid, and with an agreement yet to be found on an extension of his contract whch is currently set to expire at the end of June 2023.

Should he go, the Nerazzurri would potentially look to replace him with Immobile, though it remains to be seen whether the Biancocelesti would consider negotiating for his exit.

It will still be some days before this could become more concrete with the Nerazzurri still considering Martinez’s situation and thought to be prioritizing keeping him at the club, but should he be sold then Immobile would be one of the first names sought to replace him.
