Inter will meet with the agent of midfielder Lucien Agoume in the next day or two to finalize a contract renewal for the 19-year-old before sending him out on loan.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Frenchman’s current deal will be extended until 2024, and that once this is done talks will begin on finding a loan destination for him.

It is not immediately clear where the destination for Agoume will ultimately be, though it has been reported that there are French club keenly interested in bringing him in.

However, the club are ready to commit the player with a longer contract before dealing with his immediate future, seeing him as a strong prospect going forward.

The Nerazzurri will hope that whichever destination he does end up at next season, he will be able to enjoy more regular football than he did on loan at Spezia, with experience and the development of his game the key aims.
