Inter wing-back Ivan Perisic is prepared to give his best to Inter next season even though it looks like he could depart the club next summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Croatian has communicated that he is ready for the season.

Perisic’s contract expires at the end of June 2022, and the Nerazzurri have no plans to renew with the 32-year-old, and having gone much of the window without agreeing a deal for the player he looks set for a stay.

The player is not unhappy with this situation, and will take his opportunity to make one final contribution to the Nerazzurri having been with the club since the summer of 2015.

After returning last summer from a loan spell with Bayern Munich, Perisic played his way into Antonio Conte’s team in the left-wing-back role, and the Croatian will hope that he can be of similar use to Conte’s successor Simone Inzaghi as he looks to play out his final season in Milan in good form.
