Inter target Joaquin Correa is nearing the exit door at Lazio, and the Nerazzurri are ready to swoop for the Argentine.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper il Messaggero, who report that the player’s entourage want a move for him, and the Biancocelesti are willing to let him leave to join Inter.

Correa has quickly become a priority target for the Nerazzurri, with the club looking set to miss out on Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata as they move to replace Romelu Lukaku without delay.

The player wants a move to Inter and not any other destination, with his desire to link up with head coach Simone Inzaghi with whom he spent several seasons together at Lazio already.

With the player close to leaving his current club, a deal for his signature could be completed quickly, with the Nerazzurri wasting no time in reinforcing their attacking options in the wake of Lukaku’s departure.
