Inter could look to sign Manchester United forward Anthony Martial as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, with the English club willing to let the 25-year-old depart on loan with a purchase option.

This according to UK tabloid The Mirror, who report that the Nerazzurri are weighing up a move for the Frenchman, but that he would not come cheap and that the club would only want him on loan initially.

The Red Devils are happy to allow the player to join Inter on loan initially, but would insist that the loan include an obligation to buy him permanently, and would want to recoup a fee close to the £50 million they paid Monaco for him in 2015.

It remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri would be willing to spend the amount being asked by United for the Frenchman, or whether they would agree a deal which includes an obligation to buy, but should they be open to these condition Martial’s signing could be on the way.
