Young Inter striker Martian Satriano could be set for his first start in a senior Inter match during the Nerazzurri’s Serie A opener against Genoa.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that absences in attack could leave the door open for the Uruguayan to make his senior team debut from the first minute.

Lautaro Martinez will miss the Genoa match on August 21 through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card towards the end of last season, while Alexis Sanchez is expected to be absent through injury.

Meanwhile, with Romelu Lukaku close to the exit door, it remains to be seen which attacking arrivals will be in the team, with Roma’s Edin Dzeko thought to be close to a move, and whether they will be ready for action from the start.

Satriano is ahead of the likes of fellow young strikers Eddie Salcedo and Andrea Pinamonti after following up a strong campaign with the Primavera team last season with excellent form in pre-season, and head coach Simone Inzaghi could be ready to place his trust in the 20-year-old.
