Danilo D’Ambrosio and Hakan Calhanoglu have returned from injury and should be available for this Saturday’s pre-season friendly against Dynamo Kiev.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the pair, who missed last Sunday’s friendly encounter with Parma, are once again fit.

Calhanoglu had missed the Parma clash through a slight muscle strain, but he is expected to re-join the squad shortly having healed up and training on his own to regain fitness.

D’Ambrosio as well has gotten over a muscle problem quickly, and he will be available for the Dynamo friendly, as both players and the entire squad look to get close to full fitness in their last test prior to the beginning of the season.

Alexis Sanchez and Roberto Gagliardini, meanwhile, are both still out as they recover from injuries which could keep them sidelined for some weeks further.

The Nerazzurri plan to train at the San Siro on the eve of the Serie A opener against Genoa on August 21, to test the pitch and get a feel for playing at their home once again.
