Edin Dzeko will soon be an Inter player officially, with the Bosnian having signed a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that only the official announcement remains for Dzeko to make the switch from Roma, and that this is forthcoming very soon.

The Nerazzurri have wasted no time in bringing in the 35-year-old, who quickly emerged as a target after it became clear that Romelu Lukaku was headed for the exit door.

Dzeko will be the first attacking signing brought in as part of an effort to strengthen the forward areas with major reinforcement following the loss represented by Lukaku’s departure.

With the signing now essentially complete, the Bosnian can soon begin work with the squad and head coach Simone Inzaghi preparing for the season, as he looks to quickly get up to speed so that he can contribute to the team in the upcoming season.
