Inter are considering offering a swap deal to Cagliari which would see Lucien Agoume join the Rossoblu on loan and Nahitan Nandez come in the other direction, also on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Nandez could be signed on a paid loan with a purchase option included.

In return Inter will send Lucien Agoume to Cagliari on a paid loan with an option to by attached, the report continues.

Nandez remains a target for the Nerazzurri even if they sign Denzel Dumfries for the right-sided position, with the versatile Uruguayan also liked as a potential option in central midfield.

The Nerazzurri are still exploring possible formulae to try and convince the Rossoblu to allow the 25-year-old to join on loan initially, and are weighing up offering Agoume as part of a bid for him.

Agoume is expected to renew with the Nerazzurri and then be sent out on loan to gain top-flight experience, and an arrangement with Cagliari could solve multiple problems and allow Nandez be signed.
