Inter are close to sending their first offer to PSV for right-back Denzel Dumfries.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are set to offer €12 million plus add-ons for the 25-year-old.

Dumfries has always been Inter’s top target to replace Achraf Hakimi on the right, and they are now all set to go all-in on him, with the first official offer to be made no later than this Sunday.

The club are expecting negotiations to go smoothly, with PSV amenable to making a deal, and the player training separately from the rest of the squad in the Netherlands as he prepares for a move.

Inter have always been Dumfries’s first-choice destination, and he does not consider a move to Everton with the Nerazzurri poised to move for him.

The Dutchman is set to earn €2.5 net per season on a four-year deal at the Giuseppe Meazza should the deal for his signature be completed.
