Inter will have to raise their offer to convince PSV to sell right-back Denzel Dumfries, but are already close with their initial bid.

This according to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who report that €15 million will not be sufficient to sign the 25-year-old, but should the offer reach €17-18 million including add-ons a deal can be done.

The Nerazzurri have greatly accelerated their pursuit of Dumfries in recent days, and are hoping to close on the signing of the Dutchman shortly.

They are in advanced talks with PSV, and are close to understanding what it will take to bring Dumfries in from the Eindhoven-based club.

Last summer, PSV valued the player at €25 million, but this has dropped to €20 million, and should the Nerazzurri make a bid worth €18 million then it is reported that a deal could quickly be done for the 25-year-old.

The player is thought to want an Inter move, and should the Nerazzurri move for him then there should be no obstacles to his signing.
