Inter Will Sign Both PSV’s Denzel Dumfries & Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez, Italian Media Report

Inter are hoping to sign Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez this summer even with the arrival of PSV’s Denzel Dumfries also expected on the right.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the Uruguayan remains a target for the Nerazzurri.

Dumfries remains the first-choice target of Inter to replace Achraf Hakimi on the right side of the pitch following the Moroccan’s departure to Paris Saint-Germain, and it looks increasingly likely that the club will move decisively for the Dutchman.

Nandez had been among the options as a long-term heir to Hakimi given the versatile Uruguayan’s proficiency at playing on the right, but it now looks to be Dumfries who will be the major arrival in that role.

However, the signing of the Dutchman will not end Inter’s pursuit of Nandez, and they will continue to press for his arrival even if Dumfries is to be brought in.
