Legendary former Inter defender Javier Zanetti turned 47 yesterday, and Serie A sent their best wishes on social media to one of the Nerazzurri’s, and one of the league’s, best ever players, in a post on their official Instagram account captioned “Born as a leader” .
Zanetti made 858 appearances for Inter, spending most of his time at the club as captain, and he won multiple Scudetti and Coppa Italia titles, in addition to the Champions League, becoming one of the club’s icons in the process and leaving a great impression on Italian football in the process.
