Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume is set to sign a contract extension until 2024 with Inter, and then will be sent out on loan for next season.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that Venezia, Empoli, Crotone, Sassuolo, and Saint-Etienne are among the clubs chasing his signature.

Agoume returned to the Nerazzurri this summer following a loan spell with Spezia, and it now looks like the plan is to loan him out once again to gain more experience and develop his game.

The priority will be finding a club at which the 19-year-old can play as much as possible, having only managed twelve appearances for Spezia last season and hopeful of more going forward.

With a number of clubs having inquired about the Frenchman, it is not yet clear where he will end up playing his football next season, but the player and the Nerazzurri look to have no shortage of suitors to choose from.
