Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata’s agent Fernando Schera has given an update on the Colombian’s situation amid links to Inter.

Speaking to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, the agent explained that Zapata would certainly consider a move to the Giuseppe Meazza, but that Inter have not yet come in with any offers for him.

The Nerazzurri are looking to further strengthen in attack following the arrival of Edin Dzeko, and Zapata is thought to be one of the main targets in their search for a striker.

The Colombian is considered to have the right profile to replace Romelu Lukaku following the Belgian’s sale to Chelsea, and he could be brought in this summer.

However, as the player’s agent clarifies, the Nerazzurri have not yet made many offers, and it remains to be seen whether the club decide to step up their pursuit of the 30-year-old, or if they decide to move onto other targets.

“Zapata non-transferrable? At the moment, there are no offers,” Schera explained, continuing that “Inter have not presented an offer for Duvan either. Obviously, the possibility of Inter is of interest to Zapata, but for now there is nothing.”
