Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella is the subject of interest from several top clubs around Europe, but no concrete offers have yet come in for the 24-year-old during this transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the likes of Spanish champions Atletico Madrid and German champions Bayern Munich are both tracking the midfielder.

The Nerazzurri will not want to lose a key player after the sales of Achraf Hakimi and Lautaro Martinez this summer, and Barella is a significant member of their squad, but they could have to ward off major interest in his signature.

The 24-year-old is already thought to be the subject of interest from clubs in the Premier League, and now two more major clubs around Europe could be interested in bringing him in as a midfield reinforcement.

With no offers having yet arrived, it remains to be seen how serious either Atletico or Bayern’s interest is, but they could yet make a move for him this summer.
