Inter have acknowledged that they are out of the race for the signature of Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, who report that the 21-year-old had been a target to replace Romelu Lukaku following the Belgian’s departure for Chelsea, but that he is considered too expensive to seriously pursue.

The Nerazzurri have wasted no time in looking for attacking reinforcements following the sale of Lukaku, and Vlahovic’s name had been one of the first to emerge on their list.

The Serb is also a target for English club Tottenham and Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, who could go all-in for him as they look to bolster their attacking options.

His current club, however, are determined to resist all advances for the young striker and keep him for next season, and the Tuscans are planning to offer him a contract extension in order to secure his future.
