Inter’s Interest In Napoli Captain Lorenzo Insign Is “Concrete”, Italian Media Report

Inter are serious about a possible move for Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzzurri are considering him as a solution to their search for an attacking player and that their interest in him is “concrete.”

The Nerazzurri will bring in an attacker before the end of the window, with Edin Dzeko’s imminent arrival only the first reinforcement in forward areas to come following the sale of Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea.

Insigne has immediately joined the list of possible arrivals following news that the Partenopei captain’s contract extension talks with his current club have stalled, and the Nerazzurri are on alert to any updates in his situation.

A move could be made for the 30-year-old before the end of the window as he is definitely considered to be a target, though for now he is only one target on their list.
