Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti has made a prediction about Inter’s transfer business, suggesting that a move for Joaquin Correa for Lazio will be prioritized.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster TMW Radio, as reported by FCInterNews, the journalist gave his view that the Argentine will be brought in at the behest of head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Inzaghi and Correa have worked together successfully for three seasons while together at the Biancocelesti, and Sconcerti argues that this will be a key factor in the Nerazzurri’s decision to move for Correa.

At a time of upheaval for the club in which replacing Romelu Lukaku will dictate that the club must seek stability and a guarantee of quality, a reunion between the newly-appointed manager and a player with whom he has enjoyed success already could be a tempting move for the Nerazzurri.

According to Sconcerti, adding Correa to the existing attack alongside the imminently-arriving Edin Dzeko could allow the Nerazzurri to continue to have the strongest attack in Serie A.

“I think Inzaghi prefers Correa,” he stated, “An attack with Dzeko, Lautaro, and Correa would perhaps be the best in the league.

“There would be the possibility of doing good business like this, for me Correa is the right one and what Inzaghi prefers.”
