Young Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume looks set for a loan move to either Ligue 1 or the Bundesliga, which he will do once his contract is extended.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 19-year-old’s future is likely to be in either France or Germany, with a view to gaining playing time and experience.

Agoume returned to Inter this summer from Spezia, and with his current deal set to expire at the end of June 2022 the first order of business is to extend his contract.

This looks to be nearly complete, with the Frenchman close to signing a new deal that will take him on at the club until the summer of 2024.

Once this is completed, his immediate future will be assessed, with a loan the likely outcome for next season as the player and club look to find an environment where he can develop his game and get minutes.

Reportedly, the likeliest loan destination for him will be in either Ligue 1 or the Bundesliga, with these divisions giving the best opportunities to a player in his situation.
