Martin Satriano will be an Inter player next season, with the club deciding that his pre-season performances have shown enough quality to keep him with the senior squad.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Uruguayan will be the fifth striker in the rotation available to head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Satriano enjoyed a strong campaign with the Inter Primavera side last season under Armando Madonna, and he has followed this up with several eye-catching displays in pre-season playing alongside the first team squad.

So impressive have his performances been that he is now considered to be ready to contribute to the senior team and make the step up, with the 20-year-old presenting a different option to Inzaghi.

Satriano has been linked with a number of clubs’ interest during the transfer window, with a loan move thought to be a possibility for his immediate future, but the Nerazzurri have decided he’s ready for life with the senior squad.
