New Inter signing Denzel Dumfries could make his first appearance in a Nerazzurri shirt during tomorrow’s friendly against Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kiev.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the club are wasting no time in getting the right-wing-back prepared for the season and integrated into the squad.

The signing of Dumfries has been a rapid process, with negotiations with PSV having quickly accelerated this week, and he is now set for his medicals with his new club.

With the process to make the 25-year-old an Inter player officially close to being complete, there should be nothing stopping him from getting time on the pitch with his new teammates and under head coach Simone Inzaghi.

Along with fellow new signing Edin Dzeko, Dumfries should spend the next couple days getting up to speed with Inzaghi and acquainted with the squad, at which point they could be ready to feature as early as in tomorrow’s clash with Dynamo, and will be ready to contribute to the Scudetto defense very soon.
