Inter are ready to extend the contracts of several key players, with Marcelo Brozovic, Nicolo Barella, and Lautaro Martinez to be offered new deals soon.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the situation which the club are most intent on addressing is that of Brozovic, whose current deal runs out next summer.

Brozovic is under contract until the end of June 2022 as it stands, and the Nerazzurri have made extending his deal a priority.

The Croatian is being represented by his father Ivan in contract negotiations, and is seeking a wage increase from net €4.2 million per season to €5.5 million, and if the club cannot meet this it is not impossible that he could leave for free next summer.

Meanwhile, Martinez is on with the club until the end of June 2023, and while it is thought that the will of the player is to renew especially after he rejected the advances of Tottenham this summer, the club have yet to come to any conclusive agreement, with the player potentially seeking over €5 million per season as his new net salary.

Finally, Barella is expected to be rewarded for his performances with an increased salary and an extension of his current deal past the end of June 2024.

The 24-year-old currently earns a net of €2.5 million per season and the club are aiming for an increase to over €4 million as they seek to make sure that the midfielder is totally happy at the club.
