Inter will consider signing Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez once youngster Lucien Agoume is sent out on loan.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the signing of Nandez is not currently a priority after talks have stalled with the Rossoblu, but that the chase for him could be resumed once Agoume’s departure is confirmed.

Nandez is no longer a target on the right following the arrival of Denzel Dumfries, but the Nerazzurri could still look to him to join the squad as a midfielder.

The team is not currently lacking for options in the centre of the pitch, with Nicolo Barella, Stefano Sensi, Hakan Calhanoglu, Matias Vecino, and Marcelo Brozovic all set to be available to manager Simone Inzaghi.

Meanwhile, the situation of Christian Eriksen is uncertain, and Arturo Vidal has been impressing Inzaghi in training and could be called upon next season.

However, once Agoume leaves on loan, and with the situation still far from settled with the midfield rotation, the Nerazzurri will still consider Nandez a target.
