Mino Raiola, agent of Inter defender Stefan de Vrij, wants to make clear to the Nerazzurri not to forget to renew the Dutchman’s contract.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the agent expects that the 29-year-old should soon be offered a new deal with his current one set to expire at the end of June 2023.

Raiola has been in close contacts with the Nerazzurri for the past several days as he has been working on a deal to bring another Dutch player who is a client of his, Denzel Dumfries, to the Giuseppe Meazza.

The agent hopes that the club are preparing to secure de Vrij’s future soon as another order of business, with the defender not yet having been given an indication that an offer is close.

De Vrij has become an important player at the Nerazzurri since his arrival from Lazio in the summer of 2018, and with interest coming in for him from a number of European clubs, the Nerazzurri will hope to be able to keep him on and could respond to Raiola’s desire soon.
