Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nandez still wants an Inter move, and the Rossoblu have excluded him from the squad of their upcoming Coppa Italia fixture against Pisa.

This is confirmed by Cagliari manager Leonardo Semplici, who stated that the Uruguayan will not be available for selection during the Coppa tie in a pre-match press conference, as reported by FCInterNews.

Talks have broken down between Cagliari and Inter about a possible move for Nandez, but the player is adamant about wanting to make the switch before the transfer window is such.

His situation is unsettled, with the club having apparently decided to exclude the 25-year-old from the squad to face Pisa for reasons related to his disagreement over not having been transferred yet.

The situation between the clubs remains that the Nerazzurri want to take the player in on a paid loan with an option to buy, and the Rossoblu would consider this arrangement, but there is yet to be a conclusive agreement between the clubs on the amounts involved in the deal.

Should the tension between Nandez and Cagliari continue in the manner that it has, however, the Sardinian side could feel that there hand is forced and agree a deal with Inter.
