Edin Dzeko is still involved in a financial dispute with his current club AS Roma that needs to be resolved before he can officially become an Inter player, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Edin Dzeko claims that he is still owed wages by AS Roma for the month of July which the club are refusing to pay.

The amount is just under €400,000, but the club believes that by letting him leave for free at very short notice, they should not have to pay him that amount of money.

Inter are growing impatient at the situation because Simone Inzaghi wants the Bosnian striker to train with the rest of the squad ahead of the opening Serie A game against Genoa.

Inter have a friendly against Dynamo Kyiv this evening that Edin Dzeko could have featured in but that now seems unlikely.
