Inter could hold off on their interest in Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic until next summer when more money may be available to offer Fiorentina, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, Inter are still extremely interested in bringing Dusan Vlahovic to the club in the near future, it just can’t be this summer as he costs far too much.

Fiorentina are holding out for a bid of around €70 million which could still come in this summer from either Atletico Madrid or Tottenham Hotspur. Most likely though is that the player will spend another year learning at Fiorentina before making the move to an elite club.

Inter don’t have the financial ability to sign him right now but if he is still available in a year’s time and the financial situation has improved in the way it is expected to following Romelu Lukaku’s sale, the Nerazzurri will be back involved.
