Napoli could be about to make a serious attempt to sign Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini this summer as their other targets have become complicated, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport, Roberto Gagliardini will soon be subject to a transfer bid from Napoli who may get more use out of him than Inter seem to be in recent times.

The Italian midfielder who was signed from Atalanta is not thought to be one of the key players in new coach Simone Inzaghi’s mind so that is why Napoli and Luciano Spalletti sense their is an opportunity there.

They still have Tiemoue Bakayoko to negotiate with but his situation with parent club Chelsea is quite complicated. He needs to renew with them before they will allow him to go on loan again.

Matias Vecino is also more important to Simone Inzaghi.
