Inter are set to offer Marcelo Brozovic a new contract before the end of this month in hope that they can secure the Croatian’s future, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by L’Interista, a summit will be held between the player and his representatives as well as the club in order to finally agree on a new salary for the midfielder who is extremely important to the team.
It is expected that Inter will offer the player a salary of €4.5 million a year as well as some performance-based bonuses for the player to hopefully achieve.
Marcelo Brozovic’s current contract is set to expire in June 2022 which means that he would be free to negotiate with other teams for a free transfer from the January transfer window onwards.
It would be a disaster for Inter to lose the midfielder, especially if they were to lose him for free .
